I'll be teaching this course with friend and Art Historian Aliki Braine. For all levels, very excited about this course which combines Art History with practical studio -based sessions.
Through practical sessions and contextual lectures we'll explore the historical context of artists working outdoors and the dramatic landscapes of Northern Europe.

For two Sundays in the new year, I'm teaching this class in the lovely studio at Dulwich. We'll be looking in particular at light and tonal contrast in landscape painting, of course taking inspiration from the wonderful Dutch masters in their collection.
Just back from an amazing time in Aldeburgh, I had all weathers to work in from hot sunshine to gales and driving rain. I spent the week making new work and collaborating with Tir Eolas, a brilliant experience, culminating in the final night at Snape Maltings. A big thank you to Aldeburgh Music.

It's that time of year again, and 2015 is the 21st birthday of the RCA Secret sale. All cards from lots of different artists, many very famous ones, are on sale from March 12. You won't know whose card you've bought until you buy it.(so these aren't the ones I sent in!)
